Our Group was established in 1952 by Giuseppe (Joe) Gallozzi and his wife Titina, to offer third party shipping, stevedoring and terminal arrangements in the port of Salerno to customers in the South and Centre of Italy. In 1984 Giuseppe (Joe) was awarded an M.B.E. Member of the Order of the British Empire, by Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II , having devoted over 30 years to supporting the development of the shipping trade between Italy and the UK.
After a lifetime spent pioneering the shipping industry, the Founder Giuseppe passed away in 1991. Ownership and responsibility for managing the group were taken on by his three sons: Agostino (Chairman), Vincenzo and Enrico (both board members), who had all been raised in the business by their father.
